What personal data we collect and why we collect it

In order to provide you with the products or services you order on the site, we ask you personal information, some is required and some  is optional.
Candora is committed to respecting the privacy of your personal information. The personal information collected from Candora-fragrance website is intended for internal use only. It is confidential, treated as such and will not be transmitted to third parties. Any collection or transmission of personal data to State bodies or administrations occurs solely when the company is obliged by national laws to do so. Your personal data are only recorded if you give them deliberately when logging in to order products or services.Your name, address, e-mail and phone number may only be transmitted to sipping companies in the case of a product order and to our booking partner Regiondo in the case of a workshop booking. These companies have the same obligation not to share your data.

How long we keep your information

The data you give us is kept as follows :

-booking or orders : data stored for 10 years
-your customized perfume formula  linked to your name and/or e-mail address : unlimited in time unless you ask us to delete it.
As the processing of your personal data depends on your consent, you may ask us to delete your information at any time.
In accordance with the Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, you have the right to access, correct, transfer, or erase your personal data. You also have the right to file a complaint with the French National Commission on Informatics and Liberty, or CNIL, at www.cnil.fr

How do we safely keep your data

We take all reasonable measures, considering current technology, to protect the data we manage against intended or unintended tampering or access by unauthorized persons. Access to your personal information is restricted to a very limited number of people from our company.
To allow your relatives or friends to send you a bottle of your very own fragrance as a gift, we may give them access to your formula, for this they would need to know your name and the e-mail with which you registered your formula. If you do not want to disclose your formula for this purpose, you may ask us to keep it fully confidential in the registration process or later via mail to contact@candora.fr.

What does the French data protection law says and what is the French data protection authority (CNIL)

As a French company, we abide by French law, and by using our website your data collection is protected by French and European laws and only by these laws. In accordance with French law of January 6, 1978 relating to personal data protection, you are entitled to access, correct or delete your personal data with a simple e-mail to contact@candora.fr or by letter to Candora, 1 rue du Pont Louis-Philippe – 75004 Paris – FRANCE.
All personal data filed by Candora has been declared to the CNIL.

Access to your account and security

Booking a workshop or placing an order on this website involve creating a user account with a user name and password. The password is strictly personal and confidential and the web user is solely responsible for it.
Registering your customized fragrance formula only requires you to provide an e-mail address.

Why do we like cookies
